Precision diagnostic benchmarks, engine hydraulic horsepower calculators, and drop-in fitment cross-reference matrices for Annovi Reverberi (AR), Cat Pumps, General Pump, and AAA commercial pressure washers.
Calculate required gas engine mechanical horsepower using: HP = (PSI × GPM) / 1100 and compute the exact spray nozzle orifice rating to prevent unloader bypass cycling.
Search and compare direct bolt-on replacement pumps across AR North America, Cat Pumps, General Pump, and Simpson AAA.

Full hydraulic submittal specs, ceramic plunger metallurgy, built-in EZ start unloader, and SAE J609a flange pinout.
Pulsating (violent hose surging accompanied by a 30%–50% pressure drop) is caused when one of the six stainless steel check valves cannot close properly. This is usually due to a grain of sand or pipe debris jammed under the valve poppet, or a broken internal spring. This drops the pump into an unbalanced 2-cylinder cadence.
Always use non-detergent SAE 30 or ISO 68 industrial pump oil. Automotive motor oils contain detergents that foam under high-speed crankshaft splashing, introducing air pockets that starve the connecting rod wrist pins and bronze bearings of hydrodynamic lubrication, causing rod seizure.
When the operator releases the spray gun trigger, water cannot exit the nozzle. The unloader valve instantly diverts the pressurized fluid into a continuous internal bypass loop recirculating back to the inlet. If left in bypass for more than 2 minutes, water friction heats the manifold above 145°F, destroying the V-packings unless a thermal relief valve trips.
